Can I get banned for using ARCTracker?
Embark has not directly endorsed ARC Tracker, but their official FAQ states that overlays are allowed as long as they don't interfere with gameplay or offer an unfair advantage. The app is screenshot-based only — it doesn't read game memory, modify game files, or interact with the game in any way. Displaying item information is no different than alt-tabbing to check a wiki — we just make it faster.
Embark Anti-Cheat FAQHow does it work?
When you press the inspect hotkey, ARC Tracker takes a screenshot of the item tooltip and reads the item name. It matches it against our database and displays the relevant info in an overlay. That's it. No memory reading, no file injection, no game modification — just a screenshot and a database lookup.
